Linda Hoskins is a Grays School of Art graduate, specialising in printmaking.  Using light, landscape, colour and texture, Linda creates work that is visually stimulating.  Although landscape is a common theme, there more often than not is an abstract finish to her pieces.  The biggest passion Linda has within printmaking is Collagraph.  She uses texture and layering to create plates that make limited editions. Some of the skills she has developed in print Linda now has applied to how she paints.

Owners of Hoskins Gallery, Linda and her husband Chris work hard to live the creative dream! The inspiration of Chris’ photography work can often be seen running through Linda’s work and they love to bounce ideas off of each other.

Linda had a baby boy in July (2013) and he has become a welcome distraction in her day! Motherhood has given her fresh eyes to see and be creative and of course limited time has encouraged her to work in new and exciting ways that she hasn’t tried before.
